JONESBORO — A handful of Clayton County football players have been invited to participate in the 2017 Rising Seniors Game to be played Dec. 30 at Mercer University.
The Rising Seniors Junior Bowl is played annually featuring some of the top juniors in the state. In all, nine players were invited to play in the game.
A trio of Riverdale players — TE Jaelyn Lay, DL Dante Walker and DL Wykevious Thomas — will be a part of Team Commitment. Forest Park defensive end Justin Eboigbe was also invited to play on Team Commitment.
Team Dedication will feature Lovejoy wide receiver Jerrod Means and offensive lineman Will Rogers. Drew wide receivers Tyrek Presley and Jordan Lee, as well as Mundy’s Mill wide receiver Nick Manson, were also invited.
